The Ice-Cream Sandwich Rock near Atikokan Ontario

I look at this unique rock along-side Highway 11 every time I drive to and from Atikokan.

It is a 3.5 foot-thick vein of white quartz, about 8 feet long, with granite on each side.

To me, this looks like a giant Ice-Cream Sandwich Bar!

I've always wanted to stop and take a picture of it, and today I did!

Just for fun - Doug.

Publish To All Social Media Sites From One eMail

Here's a great example of technology bringing solutions to you.

Especially helpful if you are a remote Tourism Operator where only dail-up internet or satelite internet service is available.

If you don't have access to high speed internet, this new service can make it easy to build a community presence on the biggest social media sites, blogs, photo sharing sites and mini-blogs - and manage it through email!

I don't think I've seen a simpler solution to getting your message out to where people are gathered on the Internet.

A fantastic solution for those who have their email moved over to gMail servers. When a client sends in pictures from their vacation, you can format their testimonial, and simply forward the email.

Thats it!

This is great for those on dail-up because you never have to download the huge images to your computer, just forward them as attachments!

  1. The images are posted to Flickr.com,
  2. the text of the email message is posted to your blog(s),
  3. and the subject of your email is published via Twitter.com.

This is my first test.  I'm writing this email message, adding attachments of some pictures I recently took, and firing it off to:

Here's where I'll look for results:

and

as well as to my photo stream on flickr.com:

Thanks to Guy Kawasaki, Author of Art Of The Start, for tweeting this discovery today.

Cheers all,

Let me select a couple photos to add as attachements, and I'll fire this off.
